Without Selaria’s Blessing one cannot wield a weapon created by said Blessing. Even if he hadn’t just lost his Blessing, Sparrow would have had a hard time using Nulo’s Sword appropriately without it disappearing.
He should have known that, but we all forget things in dire times.
